Tour: the document editor

The BrieflyGo editor opens a PDF in your browser and lets you change the real text, fill and add fields, sign and mark it up, then download a clean PDF. This tour loads a sample website-redesign agreement into the real editor — click a paragraph and type to change it.

  1. The sample agreement opens page by page, exactly as it prints. This is the real editor — the file is loaded in your browser and never uploaded.

  2. Click a paragraph — for example the termination clause — and type. The editor changes the text itself, so the result reads like a clean document, not a white box pasted over the page.

  3. Use the page arrows and zoom controls to get around the document — the signature block is on page 2.

  4. Where the document asks for a signature or date, the full editor lets you add signature, date, text and checkbox fields, plus comments, arrows, lines and boxes — drag and resize anything you add.

  5. In your account the editor sits next to the risk report: fix a flagged clause, run AI re-check on the edited version, then download the PDF or send it for signature.

Questions

Are my edits in the demo saved?

No. The demo runs entirely in this tab with a sample file. Open your own document in the editor to keep your work.

Can I edit my own PDF for free?

Yes. Opening, editing, signing and downloading the edited PDF in the browser is free. Sign in to save documents online and use AI actions.

Does it work with Word files?

Yes — PDF, DOCX and TXT open in the editor.

What is AI re-check?

After you edit a contract, AI re-check reviews the new version so the risk report reflects your changes. It needs a free account.
